Ranger's Info...

Ranger's Story...
My name is Ranger and I take my inherited genes seriously. I love to herd anything on four legs. I am confident, alpha male who loves to rough-house and stretch my legs. I even went to “boot camp” and learned manners and improved my one-on-one dog skills with a professional trainer. This is when I took a herding instinct test and knew I could be a pro at herding if someone would train me. Among my skills I know sit, stay, heel, fetch, catch, release, speak, let’s go, kennel and a bathroom cue of “hurry up!” I love to play fetch for hours with both a ball or Frisbee and have some amazing acrobatics to add to the show to delight my audience. Who knows what kind of hidden potential I could have for agility, too! I love to be your shadow and curl up at your feet. I am loving and friendly. To top it off, I am very patient with the toddler at my house and don’t mind kids at all.

Ranger is a neutered 4-year-old male. He is microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Ranger has a wheat allergy and will need to be fed a gluten-free diet to manage this allergy. Ranger is currently still living with his family but all inquiries for adoption are being handled by our rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ranger, a Siler City Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Siler City, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Siler City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Siler City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Siler City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Siler City paves the way for another one to be saved.
