I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Like my name Bliss, I am very happy girl who LOVES to meet new people. I am trying hard to figure out how to become a lap dog and fit more hugs and cuddles into my active day. I do well with teenagers but am not overly affectionate with younger children. I am a huge fan of riding in the truck and know that “Load up” means adventures on the road with you. At first I didn’t want to share my world with other dogs but then I discovered how much more fun it is to have doggy playmates for running and romping and tumbling. Now I look forward to playing with my fur buddies every chance I get. Now cats are another matter entirely! I am positive they need to be chased from the yard as fast as possible. I put my herding potential to good work on sheep, too! I’m a natural at rounding up those white woolies and bringing them back to my handler. I would just need a little training to be a good herding dog. I’ve tried my herding skills on horses but they didn’t appreciate it as much as I did! Not only am a I beautiful but I am smart, too! I have learned all about behaving in the house and am now crate trained and house broken. If you ask me if I need to “go outside”, I get all excited! Also, did you know that tennis balls are GREAT FUN!?!?! I love to chase them when they are thrown although I just haven’t figured out how to get them back to my foster mom for her to throw again. She has a Chuck It, which really helps her throw the ball for us! It is a great toy and I know when she picks it up, we are going out to play! I do sometimes forget that not all things are toys for me to chew on but I am learning! I have SIT, OFF, COME and KENNEL at the top of my doggy school report card. I am working on perfecting my leash manners, too. I love all treats so training me is easy. I have learned to gently take treats out of a hand.
Bliss is a spayed 3-year-old female. She weighs about 40 pounds, is current on all vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. Bliss is being fostered in Siler City, NC.
