Otis - ATHENS's Story...
Otis is an awesome pup that was saved in the nick of time from animal control. He is such an adorable little fella that could lose a couple of pounds from his little beagle/ terrier body. He is such a goofball and loves to play around with his other dog friends that live at his house. He is great with cats as well! Otis is potty trained and loves to take a stroll on his leash. He does great at parks and will come when called. He learned his new name in literally minutes as well as sit. Otis is the perfect sized pup for just about any home environment. He is so cuddly and sweet how could you not love him? He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He will be available for adoption January 4th, but we are taking early applications for anyone interested. Visit our site www.cofas.org for more information or an application. You can also ask questions at dogs@cofas.org

Otis is located in the Athens Area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Otis - ATHENS, a Greensboro Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
