My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Reese is appropriately named for her coloration being that of the popular candy and she is just as sweet! Reese and her sister, Butter had the good life for a while but their original owner passed away recently. Both girls were taken in by a family member who lived in the Virginia mountains, but they were left tied outside. It has gotten so cold and the girls really needed to get inside out of the elements so the local humane society stepped in. They only had room for one of the girls so Butter went to a foster for the humane society and Reese got to move down to NC with us and become a tar heel! So far, she really loves it and she's already made some great new canine friends. She has met the cats and seems ok with them too. But she is definitely a "people dog" - she would much rather be with a person than with the other dogs. She is SUPER friendly!...cuddly with that soft coat too! She is getting better each day on leash and we are working on other house manners. She keeps her kennel very clean! Reese is a big, fluffy girl, weighing in at 68 lbs. She is a year old and will be a wonderful family dog and great playmate for the kids! Reese is spayed, up to date on her shots, microchipped and on monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
