My name is Ming Lei and I am looking for a forever home too. NASPR saved me when the nice vet at the local animal shelter called and told them I had been brought in after being hit by a car. They picked me up right away and took me to their NASPR vet where I had to have a rod put in my broken leg, so now I am now Ming the Bionic Dog! I didn’t let my cast get me down- I did great on 3 legs and am really doing great on all four now that my leg has healed. I am a healthy dog, neutered, current on vaccinations and heartworm free. My energy level is not too crazy even though I am a young boy (@ just under a year). I know 'sit', 'high five', I love playing ball, I entertain myself with toys and I am crate trained. I watch my foster mom for her reaction when I do things, and that’s because I work hard to be a people pleaser. I am learning to play with other dogs and haven't met a person who I don't want to kiss! My foster mom is pretty sure I am a water dog because I like to stick my whole muzzle into the bathwater! Water Shar-Pei are a rare find, better hurry and snatch me up! I've learned not to bark at the cats anymore, but we haven't had play time with one to see if we get along. I love to roll on my back and get belly scratches and raspberries. I am a very cuddly dog but not needy. My foster thinks I will work with in a single person house or with a family. I am definitely a gem and I will make someone really happy, is that someone you? If you have any questions please ask. Gotta go take my ninth nap now and dream of my forever family.
