Sabrina's Story...
Bosley, Sabrina, Kelly and Jill were born at an Apartment Complex. Their mother gave birth to them in an outdoor water heater closet with cold cement and our guess is when she left them to find food, the wind blew the door closed and the babies were locked inside and mama could no longer get to them! Luckily an employee found them and put out a call for help! These babies were too young to eat on their own and needed someone to bottle-feed them. Thank goodness a Good Mews volunteer had space open at her house and gladly took them in! Now that space is available at Good Mews, they are at the shelter and ready to find a forever home!
All four of these babies are full of spunk and love to play. They are very out-going and love other cats and people. Come meet this darling family soon. We just know you will fall in love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sabrina, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
