My name is Wendy!

German Shepherd Dog/Shar Pei Mix Dog for adoption in Portland, Oregon - Wendy

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Wendy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Wendy's Story...
My friends call me “Poor Wendy", but you can call me Wendy for short. See, I got that nickname from my friends here cuz I was found homeless walking the streets… And not only was I walking the streets alone, but at Christmas time! I guess that is pretty sad, but I don’t play the “woe is me” act, I’m just thankful to be safe and warm and on my way to finding a forever home. I’m sweet, a little insecure, beautiful and ready for a place to call my own. I do well with other dogs, and it’s believed I’ll make a great companion for very respectful child too. Maybe you could even change my nickname to something like Wendy “the dog with a loving home!” 1 year old-39lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; spay, microchip, reduced cost training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wendy, a Portland German Shepherd Dog/Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Shar Pei for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Shar Pei dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Shar Pei breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
