Chris's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Chris's Story...
Chris is a 3 year young little polite, house trained little fellow. He has excellent color even though his hair is currently very short. He has very good manners with dogs and people. He is just a bit shy but with a little patience he becomes well adjusted. Interesting is that Chris was initially baffled by stairs but he seems to be adjusting just fine. We do not know much about Chris' history but hope to help him have a bright and exciting future. If you are interested in sharing the warmth and love of your home with Chris please call Ruth at 718-809-7628. Chris is patiently waiting for his loving family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chris, a Brooklyn Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
