Josie's Story...
This pretty girl has had such a rough life - a stray in a trailer park north of Pgh., the tenants and landlord were out to get her and her stray buddies! But a guardian angel in the form of a 15-year old girl stepped in, got everybody fixed and vaccinated, and saved their lives! Josie is feisty but very friendly - a combination of talking, swatting, & headbutting, while purring the entire time! But she will calm down in time to a loving, eternally-grateful kitty. She is so pretty with that sweet face, half brown tabby, half white; and her petite body is half brown tabby, half pure white. Call today to meet darling Josie, so we can assure that courageous young lady that the kitty she stepped up to rescue has moved into her forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josie, a Delmont Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Delmont, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Delmont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Delmont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Delmont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Delmont paves the way for another one to be saved.
