Ozo's Story...

ADOPTION PENDING!

Ozo is a beautiful 1½ yr old brindle/white Basenji/Boston Terrier mix who weighs 22 lbs. He is a wonderful boy who is not aggressive at all. He just wants to play with is new foster family, canines and humans. Ozo doesn’t seem to bark at all. He is very sweet, affectionate and loves to give kisses! He is kennel trained and housetrained. Ozo is current on all his vaccinations and is heartworm negative. Ozo just came into foster care so we will update his bio as we learn more about him. Ozo has a wonderful disposition! We believe he would do well with a family with children and other dogs as well. Come and meet our Ozo!

As HAHS has several adoption locations, please contact Candy or Mark at 816/916-3685 or lelandsable@comcast.net to find out when and where you can meet OZO!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ozo, a Overland Park Basenji/Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basenji/Boston Terrier for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Basenji/Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basenji/Boston Terrier breeders who help with Basenji/Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
