Rowan's Story...
My name is Rowan and I am one lovable girl! I am crazy about all people and don't know a stranger. Energetic is good word to describe me. Ball is so much fun and it doesn't matter what kind of ball it is -- soccer, tennis or football will all do. I would probably be better around older kids so I don’t accidentally knock them down but I do love children. I am a zealous playmate and have a ton of energy for playtime with other dogs which can be a little intimidating to a really submissive dog. I am fast as lightning. I do chase the cat but have never hurt it. I am still a puppy so a little mouthy but am learning quickly that it’s not appropriate to put everything in my mouth! I am well behaved in my kennel when I’m not loose in the house or yard. I even know a few tricks already -- sit, shake, lay down, and bang, bang (play dead). I am an extremely quick learner and very food motivated so you can teach me anything!

Rowan is a 10-month-old spayed blue female weighing 30 pounds. She is up to date on shots, microchipped and heartworm negative. Rowan is being fostered in Siler City, NC.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rowan, a Siler City Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Siler City, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Siler City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Siler City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Siler City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Siler City paves the way for another one to be saved.
