Myriah's Story...

Thank you for considering adopting a rescued animal!

With your adoption we can save one more!

Myriah is a sweet young gal, abuut 2 years old. She's a small framed Rottie, and won't be the typical LARGE size. If ever there was a 'miniature' Rottie, Myriah would fit  the bill! She has been spayed, vaccinated, micro chipped, is heart worm negative, and had surgery to remove her read double dew claws. She loves attention and is eager to meet new people. She has done well with all of our dogs and has not bothered our cats. She's great with kids, and as always we prefer Rotties not to go to home with children under the age of 10. She knows basic commands, 'sit' and 'go get in your house' (get in your kennel). She is very playful, has high energy, and is somewhat of a jumper. We're working on stopping that.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Myriah, a Macon Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Macon, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Macon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Macon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Macon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Macon paves the way for another one to be saved.
