Roscoe's Story...
Roscoe is a fun loving, cuddly guy who just wants to be everyone's friend. He's a full-blooded Redbone Coonhound and is quite the handsome guy! He is about 3 yrs old and weighs about 47-50 lbs. Roscoe is good with other dogs, cats and kids. He is neutered and up to date on shots. Roscoe has been an indoor dog only as a pet, and has not been trained to hunt- he's a big love bug instead. He is house trained and crate trained as well. Roscoe is a typical hound dog who will wander off very quickly, so he must have a physical fence to keep him safe.

Roscoe is an owner surrender so you must complete and application and make an apppointment to meet him. If you would like to meet this good boy, please email us for an application at:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Greensburg Redbone Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound for sale in Greensburg, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound dog from a breeder in Greensburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
