Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Turbo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Turbo's Story...
This guy has all the right features. Shar-pei make, brush coat model, sleek body style, runs smooth but has that “Turbo” boost to give him plenty of zip and just under two years old.
Turbo joined NAPSR’s ranks by way of an animal shelter. Turbo wasn't kept inside the home where he belonged. You can see from his picture his black coat is sunburned red in patches.
Initially Turbo is timid among strangers but once you gain his trust his confidence shines and you see the playful side that he reserves for those worthy of it. He gets along with other dogs and has a very calm personality that makes him a good choice for almost any home.
Turbo is not available for “lease”. Forever homes only please! For those of you who can look beyond the dents, dings and scratches to see what can be lovingly restored to its proper luster …you might just want to drive Turbo home with you!

**Turbo is currently being fostered in Houston.**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Turbo, a Houston Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei for sale in Houston, or seeking a Shar Pei dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei breeders who help with Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
