Ebony's Story...
Hi! My name is Ebony. I am a sweet gal with a squeaky little voice and lots of love to give. I used to be quite the shy little gal, but have since become a little social butterfly! I am already spayed, up to date on all my shots, litter box trained, and tested negative for feline leukemia/feline aids. I am looking for a special home to call my own. I do well with other cats and small dogs, but really BIG dogs scare me a bit. If the dog was calm perhaps I would be ok with that. I have some much love to give and just need the right person or family to share it with. Won't you consider giving me a second chance?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ebony, a Huntingdon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntingdon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Huntingdon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntingdon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntingdon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntingdon paves the way for another one to be saved.
