Mila's Story...
Let's see… I have excellent self-esteem. I know who I am and I like myself very much. If I don't like something you will be the first to know; I will protest very loudly. You will get the message. Nobody can call me a shy girl because I'm not. I like to talk, and I spend quality time grooming myself and making sure my hair looks its best. My favorite thing is being petted, scratched, and admired. If you do all of those things everyday - we'll get along PURRFECTLY! I'm not a lapper but I love being around people and will hang out close by. As long as you can accept my desire to have my own space I will come and rub against your legs a whole bunch. And, of course, you can scratch me as much as you want to. If you don't I will come looking for your hand; get ready! I'm kind of a stocky little girl who put on a few extra pounds, having been deprived of proper exercise. If you are on the same page, perhaps we both can sit on the couch and watch some sports; interested? I'm okay with other cats as long as they don't get in my face; I really don't care one way or the other about them. Can you email Town Cats and come down and meet me? I think we'd get along great!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mila, a Morgan Hill Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Morgan Hill, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Morgan Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morgan Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morgan Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morgan Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
