Atlas's Info...

Atlas's Story...
Meet Atlas. He is a very nervous kitten who has had a difficult beginning to life. Atlas is trying hard to forget his traumatic past but he is still shy with new people and in new surroundings. He is a sweet boy who has not shown any aggression, but who spends his day hiding because he is scared. He needs a quiet home with someone who has a lot of love and patience to give this little guy and preferably someone who has experience working with nervous kitties. We believe that Atlas has the potential to really blossom and turn into a social boy, but he needs help. Please email us at victoriapets@gmail.com or come to our adoption centre to visit Atlas if you are the person he's waiting for.

Please note that while Atlas is currently living at our adoption centre he is not in our adoption room so has not been affected by our temporary adoption hold. He is available to be visited with between 10am-7pm daily.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Atlas, a Saanichton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Saanichton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Saanichton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saanichton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saanichton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saanichton paves the way for another one to be saved.
