Chloe's Story...
My name is Chloe and I’m so happy to be alive and with all my hair. I was wandering around all by myself when was picked up and taken to a kill-shelter looking really pathetic because my hair was falling out all over. This really nice lady (a real softy really) saw my picture, I guess she felt sorry for me so she took me home. I received medicine and special baths and pretty soon I looked like the gorgeous girl I am today !
This lady was pretty busy so soon I was moved to a new foster home with a lady who was home all day and could spend time with me. I’ve learned to sit for treats, come when called AND I can walk outside with or without a leash (I’m so smart), but using a leash is much safer for me. I love playing fetch and wrestling with the biggest dogs of the house (if they don’t like it, well they just knock me over) it’s fun! I’m pretty sure Im 7 months old now and the male human of the house calls me “Stubby” ! But he says it with so much enthusiasm that I can’t wait until he touches me, I get all wiggly ! I am house trained, crate trained and in my puppy opinion I have no “issues”. I weigh approximately 40 lbs now, I’m spayed and up to date with all my vaccinations. I can’t tell you more about me or you won’t be surprised when you find out what a wonderful girl I am. I’d love it if someone would choose me and give me all the love and attention I crave. Oh, I almost forgot, I don’t beg for people food either.
Chloe Update:
Chloe is THE most expressive pup I've had in a long time. She deserves
the best of homes and I won't settle for less (I'm sure Dena feels the
same). Chloe is very proper, polite, smart, witty and very very playful.
She loves for you to toss "anything" for her to fetch for you. She's
learned how to "drop" the toy rather than play tug-o-war very quickly.
Sits and comes great. When you get home from work or after being gone
from the house, she lies down at your feet and nuzzles your shoes then
rolls over on her back for some loving. She is an absolute treasure.
Chloe is house-trained, crate-trained (even though I haven't had to do this in
months). We're pretty sure she has Chow in her as her tongue is completely purple.

Chloe isn't going to get very big. She'll fill out some, but as far as height, not so bad. When walking her she looks very much like a German Shepherd with her nose is to the ground. She really acts like she'd love a young child to play with because when I was walking her a young boy was playing all by himself in his front yard and she just sat down (across the
street) and watched him forever. It was SO sweet.

For information regarding Chloe please contact her foster Teresa @ mcnamara58@austin.rr.com or call 512-506-8604. Or you can also contact Dena at rescue@rottilove.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Dripping Springs German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie for sale in Dripping Springs, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Dripping Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dripping Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dripping Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dripping Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
