My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Eve,

I'm not just another black cat, I'm actually a bombay & black tabby! (That means you can see shading in my shiny coat that makes it look like I'm always in motion) And, of course I am.

We're known in the shelter as the "Gospel Group" because the very second anyone comes in the door we run to the door and start singing in 5-part harmony. We're quite talented.

We wear color-coded collars so you can tell us apart, but actually we're all very different personalities.

The name Eve means "life" or "lively" and this little girl certainly is! She is full of energy and loves to run and play, and then she lays down and snuggles with you for a nice nap and loving.

If you're looking for a best friend who is full of life and love and will always keep you entertained, then curl up with you for a nice snuggle, Eve may just be the little girl you've been searching for!

At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.

Our adoption fee of $50 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties.
