Woogie's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Woogie's Story...
Woogie has a sister named Boogie, and they are both about 11 months old. Woogie is an energetic, playful young boy who enjoys being the center of attention. If you kneel down, he assumes it must be in order to pet him and runs right over! He is a lap cat and loves to be pet--if you stop, he will gently swat at you until you start again. Woogie has grown up with many other cats/kittens as well as a large dog and does great with everyone. He came to OKP with a nasty upper respiratory infection which has almost completely subsided, however he may have noisy breathing for the rest of his life due to the previous inflammation of his nasal passages. Woogie is a little bit mouthy, and for that reason, should not go to a home with small children.

Woogie will be neutered prior to going to his new home and his adoption fee is $85 to cover the cost of FVRCP vaccines, FeLV testing, dewormings, microchip, and his neuter. Please email if you are interested in this little guy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Woogie, a Davis Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Davis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
