Max's Story...
Max
Hi everyone I am Max and let me tell you I am all Gentleman. I am right about 95 pounds, I am approx 5 years old.

All about me...
Well it should be all about me. I was found found running by the expressway, can you believe that. I was Picked up and taken to animal control and my family never came to look for me so I just sat there waiting and waiting. Finally the rescue girls came and fell in love with me and kept saying what a gentleman I was. So off in the car we went. Ok we went to McDonald's too, I was hungry for a hamburger.

My training & manners info.
I am house broke, crate trained. I really don't like the crate I would rather have a big ole blanket or your bed to snuggle in. I walk well on a leash and love car rides. I do know how to sit and go down. I also have a bad habit of "begging" when it is dinner time but my foster family asks me to go lay down. I am not food aggressive at all.

Are you the right family for me?
I do miss my family but I guess they didn't miss me. So I am looking for a wonderful loving family that will take care of me and not let me get out and run again. I get along with adults and teenagers so far. I have not been around small children that they know of. I love to play with my toys but I just love to hang out and chill. I am not a barker at all.

How I feel about other furry creatures.
I get along with all dogs and the cats are fine to. Sometimes I love to play a game of tug - a - war with the dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Ortonville Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Ortonville, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Ortonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ortonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ortonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ortonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
