My story

Juneau came from breeding/hoarding situation where he did not receive adequate attention or socialization as a young kitten. Because of this, he can take 2-3 months to adjust, but once he learns to trust you, he is the sweetest cat you could want. In fact, he is sweet to point of being a pain as he constantly wants attention and follows you around like a puppy-dog.



Juneau is a fantastic purebred Seal Point Ragdoll male, about 2 years old.


Adoption fee waived for the right home.




Who We Are:

We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.



Adoption Process:

We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us, we will provide you with an application - either by email or by mail.


Out of state adoption:

Merlin's Hope does NOT do out-of-state adoptions other than states contiguous to Texas (LA, Oklahoma, NM). All transportation MUST be provided by the adopter.
