SWEET BUT SLIGHTLY SHY KITTY needs home. Saskatchewan is a 11 month old PUREBRED Seal Point Ragdoll girl. Saskatchewan did not receive adequate socialization as a kitten, so whoever adopts her must be willing to work with her to continue her attempt to become socialized. She does like to sleep with you, in fact on you, but you have to earn her trust first. She will take some time to settle into her new home, so her adopter must be willing to be patient..
Once you do, she loves to sleep on top of you (literally) and it is likely she will become a lap cat once she is comfortable in her environment. This precious girl loves her sister, Ketchikan, and would love to go home with her. Ketchikan is much more outgoing.
Adoption fee is $175 or $300 for the pair.
Who We Are:
We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Adoption Process:
We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us, we will provide you with an application - either by email or by mail.
Out of state adoption:
Merlin's Hope does NOT do out-of-state adoptions other than states contiguous to Texas (LA, Oklahoma, NM). All transportation MUST be provided by the adopter.
