Peter's Story...
Peter is a darling toy poodle who was rescued from a shelter after he was found as a stray dog. He is in a foster home where he is charming his foster mom with his cute personality. Peter is 1-2 years old and weighs 9 pounds. His coat is cream with champagne ears and was in bad condition when he was found so his grooming job is a little ragged but it will grow out just fine. Peter will do best in a home with older kids or adults. He is fine with other calm dogs and should be okay with cats too. Peter is house trained when he is taken out on a schedule, and is kennel trained too. He is with a 501c3 non profit rescue. His $300 adoption fee covers his neuter, heartworm test and pill, shots, worming, grooming and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peter, a Osseo Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) breeders who help with Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
