I am already spayed and housetrained.
Bounce is a 2 to 3 year old spayed female. She may be a lab/pit cross. She has been heartworm treated and is current on heartworm prevention. She is a very sweet and super playful girl who loves people but does not get along with other dogs. She earned her name by constantly jumping in her kennel. She has spent the last year in the kennel at the veterinary clinic because our doctor found her running loose in the country. She absolutely loves being outside and prefers it. she would be perfect as an outside dog in a fenced in yard by herself. She is not kennel or house trained. Texarkana Animal League (TAL) is a group of volunteers that is dedicated to improving the welfare of animals in our shelter & the community. Although we are no longer involved in the day to day operations of running a facility, our mission has not changed:
The Texarkana Animal League exists to provide protection and care for abandoned, abused, neglected and unwanted companion animals. We also want to promote animal welfare through programs and services that mutually benefit animals and people.
All proceeds will benefit animal care and adoptions, and will assist with our new community outreach programs such as a low-income spay/neuter assistance program, as well as educational and service projects to assist TAL's belief that all animals are deserving of life, respect and care. In 2008, over 2200 shelter animals received vaccinations & vet care from funds raised and we will continue to provide the same care to shelter animals this year. In 2009, we anticipate altering at least 250 animals in the community with the Spay/Neuter Assistance Program and funding an in-house spay/neuter clinic at the Animal Care & Adoption Center of Texarkana that will alter shelter animals prior to adoption.
We hold adoption events at the Texarkana PetSmart on the first and third Saturdays of ever month. We also have the cat adoption center in the Texarkana PetSmart. Please contact us at 877-525-4825 to make arrangements to see any of our adoptable animals
Our adoption fee is $160.00 for dogs and $80.00 for cats. All animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped as part of the adoption fee.
