I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Arwin's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Arwin's Story...
Arwin - unlike her Lord of the Rings namesake, she is, in deep South terms,
"simply gaw-gus." She is an American Bulldog mix, toping out under 35 lb at
11 months of age. She may get heavier with age (who doesn't?) but she will
remain a small medium size. She's rather petite. Arwin loves her own kind,
meaning she is good with dogs. She loves all ilks of people, but she is
very active and should not be placed with small children simply because of
her energy level. We don't know how she likes the kitties, but we should be
finding out soon.

Arwin is a sweet natured pup. She would be great with a young person or
couple who have a lot of energy and want an energetic dog to take to the
park, on walks, or to just have a little fun. She is very bright and so
willing to please. She is crate trained and leash trained. Housetraining
is a work in progress. She is up to date on shots, spayed, on heartworm
preventive and ready to go to her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arwin, a White Plains American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in White Plains, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in White Plains.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in White Plains already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a White Plains breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in White Plains paves the way for another one to be saved.
