Dillon's Story...
Dillon: approx 2 yr old black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and cropped ears. 13", 11 lb. Shots up-to-date. Came in as a puppy mill release so there was no name.
"Dillon is my name now. I am VERY afraid of two legged people, they just scare me if they even look at me. I love my furby friends though. I am starting to get curious about two legged people because I see that my furry buddies seem to like her a bunch! If she does not look at me I try to sneak up and sniff her but when she see's me I am going to be doing about 90 miles an hour! I hide under everything and laugh because she can't get me but I am thinking about getting in on some of that attention stuff. I love bones and it made me realize that I was a little hungry, so I have started to eat better and my foster Mom tells me this is going to make me handsome! I took a bath the other night, hummm..... kinda liked the warm water too, and everyone thought I smelled so good after getting my lotion on. I like my crate but am told that I can't stay in there all the time. Seems like there is a bunch that I need to get to know, good thing I am young and so good looking! I am smart so I know I will catch on."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dillon, a Florissant Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Florissant, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Florissant.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Florissant already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Florissant breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Florissant paves the way for another one to be saved.
