Tulip's Story...
Tulip is the sister to Lilly who we got through a cruelty case we tried for 10 months. These two ladies had a sister who was quickly adopted and so now we are just waiting for their turn. She is the oldest one of the group. she was a hunting dog who lived in a pen with water that was so green with mildew and full of mosquitos. Her nails were so long they were curled around one another. She is heartworm positive. She is a very sweet lady who needs to be in a home that is looking for a loving indoor family pet. SHe is working very hard on her potty training and so far is doing great. It would be great if her and lilly could go to a home togetheras they love eachother very much, but it is not required. If you would like to make this girl a new member of your family to put a happy ending to her story, contact the shelter today!!

Act quickly to adopt Tulip. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tulip, a Raeford Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Raeford, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Raeford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Raeford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Raeford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Raeford paves the way for another one to be saved.
