Autumn's Story...
Breed: Chow mix mix........
DOB 2-2005.........
Weight: 45-50lbs.........
Medicals: spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative......... .............

We found Autumn one cold November night inside of a Kroger store. She was just a pup and it was getting colder out so we made the decision to take her home and come back for the groceries later. She is a friendly girl with a lot of energy. She loves spending time outside playing with another dog, splashing around in the puppy pool or taking long walks to explore the neighborhood and then relaxing in the house. She gets along with other dogs, doesn't bother cats, and is fine with children. She is house broken, crate trained, and leash trained and she is an excellent watch dog. She is a versatile dog that would be a good pet for suburban life with an active family or life on a farm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Autumn, a Kingwood Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
