Fancy is about two-years-old and came to the shelter in January 2010, weighing a healthy 60lbs and with oodles of energy to share. The handlers focused her drive and energy on obedience training and a highly attentive student emerged. Fancy now has many commands, such as sit and down, under her belt. She is very food motivated, which aides training, but takes the treats with a gentle mouth. Fancy is smart and likes to interact with and please the handlers but if left to her own devices she will disconnect and find her own amusement. Fancy will be a fun family pet, but one who needs to be included in the day-to-day happenings of the household so she is kept engaged both mentally and physically.
