Willow's Story...
Willow is a sweet female, between four and five years old. She is a little shy initially, but she will soon warm up to her adopter.

Willow is on the small side and a quiet girl, all she wants out of life is some love, food, shelter, and a hand to pet her.

She has excellent house manners, is house trained, and crate trained. However, she would be fine with no crate. The full extent of her destructiveness is the picking up of shoes and putting them on "her" chair. (Unchewed).

Willow will be a dog that can and will walk with you, but is not a running partner or frisbee playing girl. . . she is much too dignified for that.

She knows "Sit" and "Drop it." When learning, she responds only to positives.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
