Brooks's Story...
My name is Brooks...I am about 2 years old. I have had a ruff life so far. I have been hit by a car, bit by a snake, and if that wasn't enough, I was attacked by 3 dogs! I was then sent to a high kill shelter:( I was so sad and shaking in pain when God sent an angel to rescue me. She scooped me in her arms and said, "I can't leave you behind." She immediately took me to the vet, and got me medicine. I am now neutered, heartworm negative, and my scars have cleared up. However, I do walk with a limp. The vet thinks it is from when I was hit by a car. It does not affect me, I run, play, and jump like a dolphin. Despite all of the pain that I have endured, I love everyone. I love playing with other dogs, and kids are the best. I am curious about cats, but I don't think they like me. My favorite thing to do is snuggle on the couch with someone. I would really like to have a forever home...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brooks, a Bunnell Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bunnell, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bunnell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bunnell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bunnell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bunnell paves the way for another one to be saved.
