Tasha's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Tasha's Story...
Tasha is a 4 1/2 year old spayed female red smooth dachshund. She weighs about 9 lbs and is very shy around new people. She is good with other dogs, but her housemate PoPo is her favorite in the whole world!! She loves to sleep under the covers at night, but is comfortable in a crate if PoPo is with her. Tasha came into rescue with PoPo and the two of them would love to stay together. If you would like more information or want to fill out an application, please contact us at k9scome1st@aol.com. Tasha's adoption fee is $250.00, but is negotiable if the two are adopted together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tasha, a Ft. Myers Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Ft. Myers, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Ft. Myers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Myers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Myers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Myers paves the way for another one to be saved.
