Hans von Schwartzbaum's Story...
Hans von Schwartzbaum is a classic looking 7 year old German Shepherd. Hans was in a home with an older couple for 4 years, he became too much for them because of his owner's health issues. He loved to go in their cart and would wait patiently for them; he could wait for hours without a problem. Hans was the picture of the regal well behaved German Shepherd, people stopped all the time to admire him. Hans is wonderful with dogs of all sizes, even little ones on a leash don’t seem to even spark an interest. He doesn’t understand what happened to his world, he needs other dogs and someone home a lot until he realizes he wouldn’t lose his home again. He is housebroken and knows his commands. Hans got great care and looks stunning. We have all his medical records. He is the perfect weight at 85 pounds. We can’t wait to see him happy again!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hans von Schwartzbaum, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
