Komin's Story...
Come meet Komin, and other cats and kittens available for adoption, at the Petco store at 2129 South Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302, just north of Square Lake Rd. These kitties live there so you can see them any time the store is open, every Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Ask the store personnel for an application or complete one via email at info@pawsforliferescue.org.

Komin is a really nice cat and very handsome too! He is a 10-month-old, neutered male, longhaired cat with a sweet, friendly and affectionate personality. He LOVES people and he has a little baby “meow.” Komin will come over for love and affection. He likes to climb the cat tower, look out the window and nap in bed. He loves to play with toys and gets along well with other cats. Komin is litterbox trained and well behaved. He is a great family cat! He's looking for a lifelong, loving home. Komin is healthy and ready to go. Give him the home and family of his dreams! Adoption fee: $60 and includes testing, vaccinations, deworming and neuter.

Adoption Process:
Send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week trial run with the pet as part of your family. This is a trial period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the trial time and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Komin, a Troy Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Troy, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
