Saint's Story...
Saint, and his buddy (possible brother) Preacher, were rescued from a rural area where he and 2 other dogs were abandoned in cold winter weather. They had no food source or shelter - they were starving when found - they were still near the body of the third dog which had actually died of this neglect.. But even after a week at the shelter, Saint is gaining weight and appears healthy . He is about 1-2 years old and a happy, friendly dog. Saint would love to be a family dog with a fenced, outside area to keep him safe.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Saint, a Lebanon Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Lebanon, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Lebanon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lebanon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lebanon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lebanon paves the way for another one to be saved.
