UPDATE 1/13/10: Della had her leg x-rayed and it shows her fibula has a pin in it and it's wired, she also has some laxity in one hip however we've had two vets opinion that the pin does not need to be removed and that she should be just fine. Obviously she won't be a frisbee/agility/flyball dog but a very nice and fun pet! She is doing wonderfully, running and jumping and being a normal puppy. She is now spayed and ready for a new home!
This little ole thing is Della an 8 month old black tri mini who is only about 15lbs. She will stay small. She was given up by her owner who could no longer afford her medical expenses, you see, she broke her leg a few months ago and has a pin in it. The pin may need to be removed and she needs to be spayed, something they just couldn't afford. She is a wonderful little thing, great with other dogs and young kids although we won't place her with young children due to her size, children 10 and above would be fine. Della LOVES to play with other dogs and is doing wonderfully with the foster homes daughter. She's also doing well with the cat in the home. She is crate trained, needs a little coaxing into it with a treat and well on her way to being house trained!
She is fostered in Winter Springs.
