My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Patch Finnegan loves life like an Irishman loves free pints! ! He is a handsome 1-2 year old red merle male (60 lbs). We don’t know his real name or age because he was abandoned in a night box at a local shelter on a very cold January night.

Patch now hangs out with a loving foster mom, dad, and Aussie sister. Patch loves praise, hates scolding, and is very attentive – hey this guy just wants to please! In the short three weeks in foster care, Patch has learned to come, sit, stay, and down on command. Patch came already house trained – three weeks now and absolutely no issues.

One of Patch’s favorite past times is to cruise in the car. He is the first one in and the last one out! He also loves playing, hanging out, and sleeping with his new Aussie sister. Patch has a very gentle, older than his age, soul, and he makes everyone he meets smile.

Oh yes, feel free to change his name; however, he will always have the spirit of an Irishman!


This boy will be fostered in Rockledge.
