Teddy's Story...
Teddy is a one year old Pitbull mix. He is very strong willed. This dog needs a large dog savvy owner. He was a problem with cats in his former home so no kitties please! Teddy respects commands and being corrected. He jumps up at your face in a very frontal manner and we do not recommend him with children at all. Teddy is still a young dog and will benefit very much from obedience class.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a Honesdale Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Honesdale, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Honesdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Honesdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Honesdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Honesdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
