Chaplin's Story...
Meet Chaplin, a handsome fellow born in December 2007. Chaplin is very affectionate, intelligent, energetic, playful, obedient and loves to please his people. His owners also discovered that he doesn't like to be alone for long periods of time and unfortunately could not provide him with the lifestyle he needed because of their work schedule. Through our experience with other adoptions, we have learned that sometimes another canine companion or even a change of home helps alleviate the stress a dog may experience when left alone. Chaplin was living in an urban apartment so maybe a suburban home with a backyard would be beneficial for him. Please contact us if you think you can provide Chaplin with a forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chaplin, a Rigaud Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
