Happie is a funny dog.... okay, she will never win any beauty contests, but she is so funny and sweet. Just a really great little girl. she was an owner surrender at the pound and was passed up for adoptions several times- finally her time was up and I stepped in to save her- because she is too cute and deserves better! Little Happie will need help with some basic obedience and she is a very fast learner. She is house trained and crate trainer. Happie is spayed, UTD on shots and microchipped.

Lucky Dog Rescue came into existence after one individual started saving one dog at a time back in late March of 2004. It began as a Dalmatian rescue, originally named Phoenix Dalmatian Station.
After seeing so many nice, highly adoptable dogs sitting in concrete cells in the county shelters, being put to sleep when no one came to the rescue, it quickly evolved into an all breed commitment, and we began saving several other breeds and mixes too! We are now a growing group of dog lovers who help all breeds and are committed to giving dogs a second chance at finding a forever home.

Our current adoption fee for adults (> 8 months old) is $200 and for puppies (< 8 months old) the fee is $250. The Adoption fee for senior dogs (7+ years) is $150. These fees cover the shots, microchipping, neuter/spay surgery and vet check for the dog.
Before an adoption can take place we do require that all potential adopters fill out an application. Once the application has been approved a home visit may be conducted. All adopters must sign a contract in order to finalize the adoption.
