Meet Maggie, she is a wonder mutt. She is approx 33 lbs. Loves to play and cuddle and is a happy girl. She was originally an unclaimed stray who joined in on a hiking group. She is approx 1.5 years old and is good with dogs and kids. She has a lot of energy so she would be best with an active family or person. She loves her people and would need to be treated as a family member. She is up to date on shots and is fixed and chipped. She needs someone who will commit to her for her whole life and keep her through life changes. She would love a yard and daily walks or hikes. Home visit and adoption fee required.

Lucky Dog Rescue came into existence after one individual started saving one dog at a time back in late March of 2004. It began as a Dalmatian rescue, originally named Phoenix Dalmatian Station.
After seeing so many nice, highly adoptable dogs sitting in concrete cells in the county shelters, being put to sleep when no one came to the rescue, it quickly evolved into an all breed commitment, and we began saving several other breeds and mixes too! We are now a growing group of dog lovers who help all breeds and are committed to giving dogs a second chance at finding a forever home.

Our current adoption fee for adults (> 8 months old) is $200 and for puppies (< 8 months old) the fee is $250. The Adoption fee for senior dogs (7+ years) is $150. These fees cover the shots, microchipping, neuter/spay surgery and vet check for the dog.
Before an adoption can take place we do require that all potential adopters fill out an application. Once the application has been approved a home visit may be conducted. All adopters must sign a contract in order to finalize the adoption.
We do adoptions in Phoenix, AZ and the surrounding cities.
