RUSSELL III's Story...
ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN REDUCED TO $150 from our regular adoption fee of $300. RUSSELL is a buff one year old neutered male Jack Russell terrier. He is tan and white with a smooth coat. Good with kids and female dogs, but not good with cats.. A home with a fenced yard is a must. He has been microchipped, all shots are current, and he has been heartworm tested negative. Russell is completely housetrained and crate trained, and he rides well in the car. Russell is very athletic and he is great with kids. His adoption fee is $300. Since a Jack Russell is NOT a breed for everyone, go to the JRTCA website at www.terrier.com and read about this feisty little dog. Then email JRRS at rescue@jrtconnection.com for an Application to Adopt. No inquiry will be processed without a completed application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RUSSELL III, a Scottsdale Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
