Ralphie's Story...
This poor boy was being hit and kicked by very small children in his family when a kind samaritan stepped in and rescued him. We don't have much background info on Ralphie but we can tell you that he is an absolute delight to be around. His story proves that animals are very resiliant and also very forgiving. This boy would make a great hiking partner or walking buddy as he still has some puppy energy. We would like to see Ralphie in a home with older kids or no children as we are not sure what he thinks about young children at this point. Gets along great with other dogs, unsure of cats. Ralphie is now neutered and fully vetted -- he is anxiously waiting for a new forever home; one that will love, cherish and adore him for a lifetime.

Act quickly to adopt Ralphie. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ralphie, a Roundup Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Roundup, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Roundup.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roundup already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roundup breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roundup paves the way for another one to be saved.
