Ceceil's Story...
Cecil is a lovely, happy dog who is well-mannered and gets along nicely with all people and dogs! She weighs 60lbs, is appx 1 year old, and is a healthy, friendly, playful dog. She will do well in most any home. She is learning her leash-walking skills, but she is a smart dog and will quickly learn all that she is asked to do. Ceceil was rescued from the pound on 12.2.09 when she ended up there as a stray dog that was found wandering with a broken tail along the road. Thanks to a good Samaritan and The Dog Shack Rescue, Ceceil is now healed and ready for her new forever home!

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
