Boris's Story...
My story: My brothers (Loki & Hedwig) and I are loving all the attention in our foster home, but we would love to find a forever home. I am beautiful (my foster mommie says so!) I am very curious and playful. I love to chase balls around the floor and any string I can find. I really want to be loved and am very good with little people. Once you start petting me I never want you to stop. My favorite place to sleep is curled up in bed with you (as long as you don't move I can't resist things moving under the covers). I would love to have a forever family to love!!

Good with Cats: Yes | Good with Dogs: Unknown | Good with Children: Yes

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boris, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
