Chuckles's Story...
In the industrial section of Phoenix, a little dog roamed the streets. He was very friendly and found the right human. She rescued him and now we want to find little Chuckles a forever home. Chuckles loves the company of other canines and must go to a home where he will have a doggy friend. He is an active fellow and likes to play. But he is not overly-energetic. He will rough-and-tumble but then he settles down and likes watching TV on the couch with humans. Chuckles is a smart dog and intuitive. He learns the commands quickly and has a very sweet nature. He ignores cats completely and once he knows where the door is, will ask to go outside whenever nature calls. Chuckles will make a great family dog. He loves children and nothing seems to upset him. Chuckles is a wonderful little creature - meet him and discover this for yourself!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chuckles, a Scottsdale Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
