Bonnie's Story...
Bonnie is a red Tosa that came from an abusive situation. While Bonnie came from an abusive situation, she has adjusted well and loves to be with people. She wants to be in the house with you as she wants to be part of the family. She is housebroken. Bonnie needs to be an only dog. She is spayed, current on shots and micro-chipped. She will need obedience training, but is a very willing student. Did we mention that she loves attention. She is just very slow to trust at present, and becomes nervous with new situations.Out of state adoptions considered if within driving distance. We DO NOT ship dogs out of state. Sorry, No exceptions. Home check required. If you're interested in adopting Bonnie, please read our adoption policies at and fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie, a Encinitas Bullmastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bullmastiff for sale in Encinitas, or seeking a Bullmastiff dog from a breeder in Encinitas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encinitas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encinitas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bullmastiff breeders who help with Bullmastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encinitas paves the way for another one to be saved.
