Scooby's Story...
Meet Scooby! He is a 12-week-old yellow lab/golden retriever mix looking for his forever home. Scooby has been given a second chance at life and is everything you could ask for in a puppy – playful, adventurous, and loving. Scooby loves everyone that he meets – adults, kids, and other dogs too! In fact, he would love to have a canine brother or sister. Being a typical young puppy, he is still learning proper puppy manners. It would be great if his new family would enroll him in puppy school – we know he would excel!

If you would like to make Scooby a part of your family, contact his adoption consultant, Kristin, at 216-798-3154. He is currently in a foster home, so she will arrange for a visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooby, a Berea Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Berea, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
