Cassie's Story...
Cassie is a Shepherd mix. She is all shepherd except for her white socks! She is a puppy, between 8 months and 1 year old by the vet’s best guess. She is playful and funny, her ears are always crooked! She thrives on attention and gets along with other dogs, but may be an alpha female when she is old enough to assert herself. She would be a good playmate for a submissive dog but would also love being the only K9 kid in the family! She is also mostly house trained.

If you would like to apply to adopt this pet please visit www.powellPAWS.org to review our adoption requirements and submit an application. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cassie, a Powell Bernese Mountain Dog/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bernese Mountain Dog/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Powell, or seeking a Bernese Mountain Dog/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Powell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Powell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Powell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bernese Mountain Dog/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Bernese Mountain Dog/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Powell paves the way for another one to be saved.
